In any event, here are the scores from this past week: On Monday, Team #3 (Red) beat Team #5 (Gray) 17-12 Team #4 (Blue) beat Team #6 (green) 17-15 Team #2 (Purple) defeated Team #8 (White) 17-9 Team #7 (Black) in a hotly-contested, spirit-laden game beat Team #1 (Straw) 17-16 On Wednesday, Team #8 (White) rebounded with an impressive victory over Team #5 (Red). I'm not sure of the score but I think White won by at least 3 goals. Along with the always stellar play of Captain Cogan, Scott Rim, the tall guy with glasses, and the tall woman (sorry, don't know your names) stepped up and played well. Good job White team. In the other game, Team #7 (Black) defeated Team #6 (Green) something like 17-10. After 3 weeks, the standings are as follows: Purple 3-1 Red 3-1 Blue 3-1 Black 2-2 Gray 2-2 White 2-2 Green 1-3 Straw 0-4 As a reminder, please pick up all garbage and items on the fields. On Wednesday, I had to pick up quite a bit of garbage on the pickup field along with some shirts. PLEASE BE CONSIDERATE AND LEAVE THE FIELDS SPOTLESS. Also, be advised that if any team plays a person who has not registered with the league or has not received permission from me for that person to play (highly unlikely), they risk disqualification. In addition, the league is 5-2 coed so, to the greatest extent possible, we should be playing all points 5-2 and not 6-1. I know some teams are short on women but we should be playing 5-2 if at all possible. Congrats to Gidon Felsen and Jesse Kercival for getting their picture in the PJB Metro Section this morning. Check it out. Publicity never hurts. Lastly, there is pickup tomorrow morning (Saturday) at 10:00 AM at Marvel Gym....hope to see some of u there. that's all, thank u very much, mjb
