We will be starting at 10:30 AM, not 11:00 AM as I previously mentioned. Please be there on time. Every team will play 3 pool play games and the the winners of the 2 pools will face off in the Finals while everybody else gets to munch on dinner to be provided by Dave Toohey of Denim. After Finals, we will have an awards ceremony so please stay and support the other teams and players. Below will be the pools and schedule after I give the scores from last night. Purple 17 White ???? All I know is that the game was tied at 9-9 when White started turning the disc over and Purple capatalized. The final score was either 17-10 or 17-15, not sure. By winning, Purple secured the regular season title because they beat Gold during their only regular season matchup. Gold 15 Black 12 Gold played savage 7....Scotty, Chris, Steve, Samir, Bill, Mary, and Amanda. 1st half and the beginning of the 2nd half was all Gold jumping out to an 11-3 lead. As has been the case all season though for Black, they are a team of streaks and last night was no exception. At 11-3, Black clamped on their zone and Gold had all sorts of trouble. Black's cup of Dave Gondek, Neil, and Hope really caused problems. Black ran off the next 7 points to pull within 11-10. The tension building, Gold hung tough and was finally able to work it down the field on black's zone for a score. Gold got another score and were now up 13-10. Black made it 13-11, then each team traded points to make it 14-12 and Gold was finally able to put the game away with a score to Samir. Denim 15 Berry Red 12 No report Key Lime 17 Pine 16 No report.
