The league will once again have 8 teams and, like last year, we plan to limit enrollment to 88 men and 40 women, 1st come-1st served, so don't delay. We still have not determined where the pre-season dates of June 4, 6, 11, and 13 will take place; it will be either at Brown or Wheeler. We will let you know as soon as we know. We have added an extra regular season game (14 in total), and you also play at least 3 games at our playoff tourney on Saturday August 11th. A sweet team t-shirt is also included. In addition, RIPUL will be hosting the 1st Northeast Summer League Championships on Saturday August 25th at Wheeler. The 2 top teams from RIPUL will be joining the 2 top teams from Portland, Amherst, Connecticut, Boston, and New York Summer Leagues in what is sure to be a fun-filled day of disc. Until June 4, we will continue to play pickup Monday and Wednesday at 5:30 at Marvel Gym. Turnout so far has been the best ever. Lots of new and old faces. Now is the best time to work out the kinks in your game so come on out. And, last but not least, I would be remiss not to mention the significant contributions made by Dr. Bill Binder who has, once again, gone above and beyond in dealing with Brown and Moses Brown to get us fields; Scott Mathieu for dealing with the t-shirt design and other assorted RIPUL work, and Loring Holden, who has redesigned our web site so it's much easier to navigate. Don't be shy to personally thank them for their efforts. This league doesn't just happen, it takes alot of time and work. any ?s, let me know. matty
